omg this is so true!

High metabolism. Its a gift and curse at the same time when viewed in different angles. You don't get fat, you can enjoy more food, generally more active than others and you don't have to worry about anything when it comes to fat intakes. But on the other hand, if you don't work up your muscle mass you'll look like a twig, you'll have more hunger pangs than others, you'll tire out easily on long hours w/o food, you'll always worry about not being able to gain a few more pounds to cover up the bones.

fredy not here again, so anan took over, with her imba warm up, everyone was ready to go. she's really fast and everyone is trying to catch up on her pace. she's strict but she teaches well.

sch holidays finally came to an end. really had much fun during the holidays

i went genting with my usual group of friend and there were 10 of us altogether!
once we reach genting, the place was awesome. it was my first time in genting and the temperature there is like aircon on full blast..reminds me of old days in 502

the prices of the food there was like dam ex..one bowl of mee RM15..bak ket teh so salty..like no good food there other than fast food
most of the time we spend was on the theme park. the theme park a lot more solid than escape, really like that drop, cockscrew, superman, mine ride and spinner, so thrilling. the drop makes u go high up above and drop u faster then the G-Force, u can't even scream when its dropping, it just stuck in your throat. kel even made one friend on genting haha wonder how is it going
came back from Genting with 35 sen left.

monday was hiphop 2, really dam fun, get to see new ppl too. it was really tiring but its worth it =) can't wait for more

really sad that maki (female lead vocalist) is leaving High and Mighty Color, the band was one of my all time favourites..gonna miss her voice..nonetheless, hope the new vocalist will do his/her best and not be pressured =

ko nite was real dope man.

thanks to me we reach the place like 2 hours eariler lol..so we went to chill out at coffee bean, ws was complaining how tasteless his drink was until sl told him there was sugar syrup on the condiment table. i order a caramel latte, thought it was a cold drink until they finish making the latte then i realise its a hot drink.

and so, 4 of us were queuing anticipating for the event to start

soon, we were inside the venue. its was kinda grand, several LCD tvs + 3 projectors showing the ring. yes, the stage is a lookalike wrestling ring, we were really thankful for the projectors so we could see the angles that cannot be view on our side.

the best part of the ko nite was the showcase by Hilty & Bosch! they performed such powerful accurate locking moves that leaves our jaws open.

we were really amazed by all the contestants that gave us such a wonderful performance. the prize was really great, 5d4n all expenses paid trip to tokyo.. how i wish i was one of them haha

cg was emo today as usual, so went to take a look at him with ed. saw him lazing on the bed, after that we left for some shopping in town
btw why do i feel cg family seems to put a lot of pressure on him?

and so ed went on to cine to try some button shirt, it shows a totally different side of him, guess he should wear more shirts lol

next i went on to my 5th hiphop lesson, time really flies. more techniques today but no new moves. can't wait for ko nite. can't wait to sign up for hiphopII

ytd had my 1st hip hop lesson with sl, xk and friends, we can't believe our eyes when we saw 2 of our sec sch teachers learning hip hop too, too bad we were not on the same class. I guess they were shocked to see us too lol

our instructor is quite cute, too bad he's a guy hahaha, instructions was very clear. we learnt bounce and jacking after a few mins of bouncing, we were complaining about our thigh muscles lol. quite a fun class, can't wait for next monday to come =D

after we finish our lesson, we have difficulties climbing the stairs lol!

later that nite, went out with ed sean and siong to catch a midnite movie - Mummy. the show wasn't that bad as many says, but watching a midnite show makes me wan to sleep

18 July - Sean and Sherman birthday
Happy birthday to them!

sang sean a bday song in bcomm class. ian caught sean unattended and smash the cake into his face, haha! ian better be careful when his bday comes. after sch we went to some BTP pizza shop to eat. there was some miscommunication with the food due to lack of some pasta sauce and we had to change orders. sorry guys had to rush off after i finish..

when nite falls we celebrate sherman bday, we had steamboat at golden mile, total of 9 person, $116.50, quite reasonable. this is one of the most unlucky steamboat i ever had. i stood up to take some chilli and put at my saucer, ray offer to help but i say nvm, as i was about to put the saucer down at my side, i accidentally spill the chilli into my drink..few mins later, i tried to take a fishball with chopsticks, guess wat? as i about to put in my bowl, yap accidentally knock on my hand..the fishball bounce from the side of my cup into yap's cup..lol

worst night ever

wed was jun kai bday, so we had bbq at bc house (as usual), didnt eat much there, drink 1/4 cup of vodka. some happenings there:
junkai got thrown into water twice, after that realise he drop his keys in the water, went back the third time to retrieve it
wj puke crabmeat at toilet..eee

the next day, had diarrhea for whole day, i guess i got food poisoning from the bbq food but i nv eat much there...suay

then in the wee hours of today(friday) i puke 4 times..it was the worst nite i had in my life..was so sieh that i dun even have the energy to go out of the door, so had to skip sch..

nv trust bbq food again..

what a unfortunate turn of events

ytd is bc bday celebration, wx was responsible for the booking of the pit as he live the nearest to a axs machine and so he book the pit on 19 June nite. and so kel and guys went to buy the food.

meanwhile i went to city hall and meet sl, xk and his 2 friends, and we went to register for hiphop! can't wait for the first class man haha and so me and xk took a mrt to pasir ris to meet them

as we about to take a bus to pasir ris park, i receive a call from jh.
"are you near axs machine? wa liao wx book 19 june pit instead of 20 june pit now we dun have a pit, faster help us find got pit or not"
LOL..booked wrong pit (Number One)

so the two of us went to downtown east and look for a axs machine. luckily we found a few pits available but its right at the end of pasir ris park and so we booked pit 56 and informed them of the pit no. we took a bus into pasir ris park. as we reach there, we saw jh chasing a cat! apparantly that cat was interested in our food and got chased by jh lol as we got together with them, i tot we had already reached our destination BUT we are only at pit 46..10 more pits to go but they were too tired to carry on the journey so we help to carry the stuffs and continue forward
finally pit 56...

some of us were preparing food, some were slacking, some were blackjacking and some..smoking. we notice two authories walking around there but we didnt give it a thought about it. after a while, the authories approach yap and wj and ask them for a private talk, we were wondering what happen and one of them ask us for our booking receipt..phew luckily we got book the pit. the two authories are national environmental agency and they caught wj and yap throwing the cigarette butt on the ground and they were fined $200 bucks each...suay..another reason not to smoke (Number Two). so wj and yap were moodless for the whole nite.

everyone was drained out of their energy, we decide to leave. as we were packing our stuffs xk suddenly release his laptop was soaked! the water from the ice bag had flown out and flood xk laptop bag(Number Three) luckily, the interior didnt got wet.

and we took a cab home

theres really a lot of ppl born in june, last week alone had 3 bday celebrations haha, happy birthday to all the june babys!

last sunday was fathers' day, so wat did u do for your dad? as for me i had dinner with him..at home =)
anyway me, ed and jasper accompanied siong to msia to wish his dad a happy fathers' day. this was the first time i find msia was so fun and the first time i drunk so much, that we almost can't bear to leave haha

last friday was shiok, had my final wda paper. the paper was quite okay, didnt have much difficulties haha

jasper bday celebration was dam fun. we booked a table and we drink, drinks before 12am is 1-for-1, so we bought him 10 flaming shots and he took it. amazing after the shots he's still standing strong, pro..me and ed shared a graveyard, that was the first time ever i felt so high drinking, every other time i drink, i would normally puke, luckily i still know wat i am doing. heard that graveyard is one of the deadliest drink =x

haiz. everytime go out with him sure got quarrel or give attitude, its childish.

last friday was vivian bday and we went to marché! marché is a swiss buffet restaurant where u will be given a guest card upon entering and all u need to do is when u order food, you can just charge it to the card and pay the balance when u exit, isn't that cool?

lol me, ws, kevin and zb decide to spilt the cost together and share the food we ordered, so we order one rosti with smoked salmon, 2 grilled chicken, 2 mushroom soup, 2 pasta and some drinks. it was heavenly! especially the smoked salmon and the pasta, total damage? $22 each! quite reasonable =)

as for today, i had my marketing paper. that is the worst module i had as i do not even understand wat is going on until now, but luckily the paper today was do-able. after the paper went to town with ed and jasper then meet cg at cine. went window shopping around cine then jasper and cg go hereen buy fossil watch (2 rich guys). btw thanks jasper for the ride to and back!

i'm so looking forward to friday as its my last paper on that day AND also jasper birthday celebration! and we would be drinking at Phuture..hope i don't puke man haha

wats with the weather nowadays? its getting so warm the whole day, even when i sleep topless with a fan on i'm still sweating! hope its not global warming..

btw duno wad happen to me 2 days ago. slept at 1am, turn and toss until 2 plus cannot sleep out of no reason. was dam pissed. went online and chat with everyone that i can find until 3 plus go watch silent hill. first time in my life i couldn't for no reason.

aww..wanted to learn hiphop so badly but too bad Oschool slots fully booked le, had to wait for july classes. trying to find more potential dance mates in the future haha

monday: for that moment, i was dam stressed while preparing for jap speaking test, this is the last and final test for that module and it was like 30%?!
Siti was my partner, (we had to converse in jap given on the scenario on our rolecard) although i didnt know her well, she's quite friendly, we practise for a while and off we start our test. once we got our rolecard, we got 1 min to read and our sensei put a recorder the middle...as we start the test, we were so stressed up and towards the end of the conversation, it seems like the rolecard is jumbled up and we forgot our lines lol. But I guess we should have pass the test, this is the first time i felt so relieve

tuesday: its BIT day for Year 1, and there were buffet set up, one of our lecturer saw us and gesture us to eat the food, the food was nice and i guess we finish a lot of fish nuggets haha, noodles was a bit too spicy though, after the meal, me and wx head to ourspace and do some stuffs there. saw ben there, my sec sch classmate, still the same pattern haha, guess he's doing well too.
NP Strings was ...bit of boring, we were practising the same song over and over again and yet we couldn't get it right..and the worst part is tuning the guitar..with a lousy tuner, i guess i took about 10 mins or more to tune the guitar...i guess playing together with a group isn't easy as it seems.

Tiramisu!

After me and wx determined to make a tiramisu for our mom, we went to carrefour in Suntec City to search for our ingredients. We search high and low for the ingredients, first we found the liquor, seems like its too expensive for us so we tried to look for smaller bottles but no avail. So we went to search for the next item...cheese

Btw jasper was on the way to meet us, so we went to search in the cheese section. I think we spend about 5 mins there and still couldn't find that particular cheese that we needed. Next we went to find the next cheese section, the one that got an indian guy tending the stall, looks like he doesn't have that cheese too. We starting to get restless already, just then, jasper came and scared us from behind..lol

I think jasper is our lucky star, once he came, we found sponge fingers, cocoa powder. As for the cheese, we went back to the 1st cheese section and 3 of us look together. As we walk towards the end of the section, a elderly couple approach us and ask which butter is suitable for baking. As we suggest SCS butter to them, wx suddenly spotted the cheese we wanted! it was just right on top of the butter! lol i guess kindness begets kindness.

So we purchase our stuffs and went to meet ed. guess wat, ed car broke down lol..and his car just came back from servicing 2 days ago. so we accompany ed and his mum while waiting for the towing truck to come....

btw didnt know that shopping for goceries can be so fun and have such a peaceful feeling haha.

Yesterday, me and wx meet at town again to get our last and most important ingredient..liquor
we found that isetan sell small version of that particular liquor so we went to the wine section of the supermarket in isetan. we search around the place but we can't find it. in the end, its right infront of the counter.. lol and we were so lucky that it is the last one on display!

After we had our lunch, i went to wx place and slack and prepare the ingredients. this is the first time we bake a tiramisu haha, we were so afraid that it won't turn out nice lol

So we were done with the baking and put it into the fridge, while waiting, i request to watch Secret ( 不能说的秘密 ) by Jay chou. The show is dam nice! and very very touching. One of the actress look like one of my friend and i thought she was acting in it!

hectic week

oh man this week was kinda hectic..was like a walking zombie in the past few days...

Tuesday had NP strings, learn how to differentiate notes and how to play and read notes from the music sheet. Wasn't as easy as i thought haha. Tuesday is also jay lloyd birthday, he's a new friend i met from cg and friends, quite a funny and friendly guy. I left NP strings at 9pm, and sorry wx that i have to pang seh u to celeb his birthday lol..

So i took a bus down to meet ed and meet the rest at chomp chomp. after they had eaten, we went to a famous cafe nearby. its called Ice Cube Cafe, kinda famous for their mudpies. luckily we had a reservation if not we wouldn't have a seat. me and jasper order their best mudpie, alcohol anonymolics, the taste is heavenly! its a rum and raisins mudpie with some almond on top, if you got the chance should try it , btw i shared with jasper lol
others ordered their icecream and cg ordered a banana spilt! looks like ed and mel wasn't really pleased with their waffles lol half way thru, sz when to bring the cake out and jaylloyd was quite surprise to see the cake as the cake has his photo on it! really amazed by the technology nowadays O.O

haha friday have to wear semi formal for bcomm, hope it will be fun!

Flame of Glory

sat was also cy bday, meet siong and guys at 3plus and off we go to some present shopping. we celeb cy bday at NYNY. ( New York New York ) The food there is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I shared a juicy beef tenders with adz. At first we tot it was some juicy beef steak with sauce on it, but when it came, didnt turn out like wad we expected haha. It was diced beef and mash potato with some unique sauce and the taste was...PERFECT! somehow, the beef doesn't taste like beef haha, taste a bit like pork. Somehow, NYNY seems to be a place for ppl to celebrate birthdays, saw around 5 - 6 birthday parties around and we sing along with it lol

after we had our dinner, we went to eski bar at boat quay..oh man before we reach there we walked around for like 2 hours?! gerald had call his girl-friends along to drink. as we were waiting, i saw a familiar face.

Singapore is such a small world , saw sh once at citylink mall and she turn out to be one of gerald friends haha. Eski Bar is one of the coldest bar i ever went, it was like -3.4 degrees! and we even had to wear thick eskimo sweaters to keep ourselves warm, i was shivering all the while.

We ordered the deadliest drink for cy, the name of the drink is Flame of Glory - 85% alcohol..OMG. after cy finish the drink, he fell from the chair and sat on the floor. He told us his head was spinning after he finish the drink. We played with him and he kept laughing lol, and he kept losing at drinking games.

i wasn't a good drinker so i didnt drink much on that night, luckily i didn't puke haha.

This morning around 1am+ one of my colleagues called me. He claims that his friend's sister is in hospital and in need of $200 bucks and ask me to transfer to him. At this moment i was thinking, of so many ppl why doesn't he ask his family, his close friends, or relatives for help? And i also doesn't know him well enough to lend him to much money. He even say he will return me by tomorrow. I thought about it, since he is able to return me the money by tomorrow, he should have the money now. So i bluff him i didn't bring my atm card and i off my phone after that.

Once I reach home, i switch on my phone again, saw his sms again saying i ****ing gay dun wanna help dun need off phone. So i reply him again saying i dun know him well enough should ask his family or friends instead, he reply me but they are all asleep. **** him if really urgent he wouldnt care if his family or friends are asleep. lucky i not so naive to lend him the money.

Just my luck to meet this kind of people.

Tues had e-learning so didnt have to go to sch so i went to catch a movie with my fellow classmates..we watched the show Harold and Kumar..the show is so hilarious that we laugh throughout the whole movie. I'm sure i gonna catch it again

The show actually about 2 asian guys (korean and indian) going around doing stupid things and making a fool out of themselves. and Kumar actually looks like Saleh! I wonder are they long lost brothers lol.

After the movie i went back to sch for NP strings, and meet up with wx and siong then went tgt to the clubhouse. They taught us some basics of guitar and some theory. As we were playing around, we manage to chat with a pro alumini member. He can actually sing and play the guitar at the same time! the 3 of us awe in wonderment as he play some of the famous jay chou songs.

I'm all flare up for guitar!

Been a long time since i blog, gonna to give it a go again =)

I had car practical lesson this morning, unfortunately i was late for a bit due to me still nua-ing in bed after my phone alarm rang. duno is i not enough sleep or wad, my reaction super slow thru out the lesson...lucky instructor was patience cuz i keep forget to apply the stuffs he taught lol.

Then I had my jap class at 1, the quiz was kinda easy but was stress when the compo test came..and i did not memorise the letter writing format hahaha. and one best thing about my jap teacher, she always release us super early like 4 plus instead of 5pm. after that went for my boring work..i swear not to work during schooling again dam tiring after a day of mental work.

yay! today(tues) no sch cuz e-learning shiok! can sleep late le. looking forward to tml class outing and...NP STRINGS! my 1st "legally" joined cca haha. today shall be the third time i holding a guitar. *btw np strings is a guitar and strings instrument club.

New Year

Well.. Seems like a little late for new year stuffs but i guess its always never too late to do something right? haha.

Time really flies as now I'm already approaching the end of my life as a Year 1 student in NP. Life in poly isn't really that great after all but one of the best things in poly is freedom and pretty girls haha.

Next is my new year resolutions
1. A better GPA!
2. Complete all my projects on time

4. Gym..Maybe?

Success

From the word, “Success”, everybody will have different perspective on it. Some may want to be rich, have a high-paying job, getting good grades and many more. But true success is doing what you love, feeling satisfied and fulfilled in life.

As for me, I would rank interest over money, because my definition of success is doing what I like and interested in because I feel that you can only be successful if you like doing what you do. For example, I would choose a job that I am really interested in than a job that pays a good amount of money but doing something that I am not interested in. By doing so, I will have a passion for my career. With passion, we are energised to do bigger and bolder things, to be more than what we think we can be. Interest will motivate me to be enthusiastic in my career and care deeply about what I do.

My Vision, “I will do something I like, using my ability to persevere through all hardships and do my best in whatever I do, and in so doing achieve happiness and contentment.”

In order to achieve what I wrote above, I need to have the keys to success. The keys to success are acquiring a positive mindset, prepare and plan myself for success and persevere.

The first thing I need to do in order to be successful is to acquire a positive mindset. Without a positive mindset I cannot move on to a higher level or worst getting dragged down by negative thoughts.

The next thing I have to do is to prepare for success. I have to identify my own strengths, advantages and limitations. I must consider the level of competence, skills or knowledge, required to accomplish the goal or vision. I should be open to learning and training opportunities as it allows me to hone my skills, knowledge and competencies required for success. In the process of getting successful, we must be at optimum physically, emotionally and mentally. Also, we have to plan a route by setting SMART goals and focus my activities toward achieving the goals.

Lastly, I have to persevere through all the hardship and obstacles that I encounter. I have to learn how to deal with disappointments and setbacks. I have to keep calm whenever I encounter an adverse situation. In adverse situation, we tend to blame our self or to engage in self-defeating thoughts. We should believe in our ability to succeed and overcome the setback. Lastly, we should have an action plan to deal with the situation.

The next topic we were taught in LMS is Anger Management.

In the past, I always thought that I was very good at anger management as I have never gotten into fights or very serious quarrels with my peers until one incident that changed my thinking…I got into a fight with my friend.

Anger management means how you manage your anger in a correct and peaceful way. Anger is a negative emotion and it can lead to quarrels or worst, fights. I discovered that if we experience anger on a regular basis, we would have the risk of serious health problems such as hypertension, digestive problems, and other chronic illnesses. Our body will also show signs of anger like tightened muscles, tightened fist, heavy breathing and not able to think properly. So being happy is the best remedy for good health.

People normally express the anger when they are angry. Some people direct their anger at the wrong target and displace to their friends and families. This can cause unhappiness between your friends and families, and the problem still haven’t resolved. There are many ways to manage your anger. One of the effective ways is to use COW (Control Outburst Withdrawal). As for me, I would try to distract myself from that source of anger and control my emotions and behaviour. We should set aside from negative thinking as they can affect your mood and your response to the situation. When that happens, we normally jump to conclusions and interpret things negatively.

When it comes to teamwork, I am fortunate to be with my classmates and they are good teammates. We were able to communicate and discuss on our project effectively and complete our projects in time. Although, sometimes we have a little quarrel here and there, we manage our anger well and resolve the conflict.In short, after attending the topic on anger management, I find myself being more able to manage my negative emotions and it prevents me from having serious conflicts with my peers.

Self-awareness & Self-Esteem

At first, when I first attended Life Management Skills module, I thought it was a boring and dull module. From the phrase "Life Management Skills", I thought to myself how is it possible to manage one's life by studying about it? I personally don't think that my life needs to be managed or need to learn how to manage my own life, until I attended the first lesson of Life Management Skills…

The first lesson was on self-awareness and self-esteem. Before that, I don’t even know what is self-awareness or self-esteem. Self-awareness is about understanding who you are, your values and how you see the world. For years, I have never thought of understanding who I am, what I am here for. But from LMS I learnt more about self-awareness. It is essential to forming strong, enduring relationship but before I can form a good relationship with others, I need to understand more about myself. I’m amazed that how we can understand ourselves.

I find that self-awareness is important to me as I am quite a shy person. By understanding myself, I can present myself more appropriately and create the impression that I want others to view me. I find that by opening myself up to others, we can know each other and communicate better. Self-awareness really helps me a lot in my life as I’m less shy compared to the previous me.

As for self-esteem, it is about how you value your life and others and how to deal with negative emotions. It helps me to communicate and relate better to others and have more meaningful relationships with my friends rather than just understanding them on the surface. I learn how to be more independent and relies less on others. Through self-esteem, I learn how to recover from setbacks and dispose all the negative thinking.

Occasionally, I do blame myself for spending not enough time on tutorials and had to burn midnight oil to complete it. Sometimes when I compare myself to others I would have a bit inferior. In the past, I would just stop thinking about those negative thinking. But after learning more about self-esteem and self-awareness, I learn how to deal with those negative thinking. Now, I would reframe those negative thoughts that I had in my mind.

What will I become in 5 years time? I would have just completed my studies and army training. I would have become more fit, more responsible and respect those around me as I had undergone army training. The positive things that I would like people to remember me as happy, responsible person and a good friend. The steps I intend to take to reach my goals is to applied self-awareness and self-esteem to my life, having positive thinking, help others in times of need and value friendship with new and current friends.

In short, self-awareness and self-esteem will make me a better person, learn to balance my life and learn to enjoy life.

this is weird...i'm unable to post anything using IE..

friday was a eventful day..which is also fauzan 18th birthday!
though in the wee hours being prank called by him,
wish him all the best for everything he do

later on that day,i went bugis with my friends to shop for clothes..
bought a tee shirt at Mindustrie lol..nv expected i would buy something from there..
we went to arcade after that but didnt see any games that interest us..
so we took the escalator back to the 1st floor...guess wad we saw..

we saw 飞轮海 a.k.a. Fahrenheit lol..
they got dam lots of fans..since they were walking in the opposite direction from us,
we could only stand still there while their fans running towards the other side..
this was the first time i saw so many ppl running in Bugis lol..
after that we went to parklane as usual to kill some time..

omg..my monitor is acting up liao..occasionally the screen would shrink to about 30%
and flicker..like bees..and the only way to solve this is to wack the monitor..seriously..
seems like wacking some bees lol..wonder how long will this last..
perhaps i should get a new monitor.

its almost been a week since i blog..

kinda busy + lazy this week haha..

prom nite was a memorable night as

we took lots of pictures and had fun together

not to mention the games that were played during the dinner

but I forgot 1 thing...that's to take pics with teachers..

ahhhhhhhhhhh....after prom nite had no where much to go

so we went home after having supper and some wandering around..

zhibin's birthday was on 26th nov, so we celebrate with him on that day

yay finally finished O lvls le!!
lol ytd went hougang green study till 12am+..tired..
todays mcq paper was the easiest paper among all others
after studying so tediously for the past 2 months..so relieved haha..
